Sweetpea's Senior Prom

Wow!  That was a fast 18 years!

They're off to a senior pre-prom dinner at the country club, the actual prom dance, and then the fun lock-in post-party at the YMCA where they'll play games, win prizes, and will be served breakfast at 3 a.m.
Lots of safe, alcohol-free fun!!

  1. Beautiful photos, hope they have a wonderful time. Did you make her dress by any chance?

    1. Thank you, Claire :) No, we bought this dress off the rack...I did hem it and sew in bra cups...does that count? :))

  2. Oh my! Your daughter is absolutely gorgeous! I don't have a daughter, but if I did, I would be so grateful for the YMCA activity. I always tell my neighbor, who has a beautiful daughter that for years I expected to look out my window to discover that he was digging a moat around the house to stock with crocodiles, as he was naturally protective of her and her activities.
Her date looks like a charming young man. I bet they had a great time.

    1. Thank you, Wendy :) Yes, we've been very protective of Miss Sweetpea...we have a moat of alligators (being in south Louisiana) :)) The parent-sponsored post prom party is a tradition - very safe and loads of fun! She had a blast! The young man is also a very nice one...plus his mother teaches English at this school. :)
