The extent of my sewing today....stitching by hand the two bias bands to the underside of the sleeves for my size 2 Children's Corner Patty dress currently under construction.
I hope to complete these little dresses tomorrow!

Late this evening a package arrived at our front door.
It's the last of my Christmas online ordering.
It is all for me. A present to myself.

My favorite!
I store the unopened packages in my dresser drawers and take a deep whiff every time I open them.
I first read about Bonny Doon Farm many years ago in an issue of Victoria magazine...back in the days when my own babies were very little...the time before we had a computer or internet in our home...when the phone was still connected to the wall by a long cord that could reach clear across the kitchen.
The days when my Victoria magazine would arrive in the mailbox and I couldn't wait to make myself a mug of tea or coffee and enjoy my new read.
I still have those magazines...and soon will take some time out with a mug of tea or coffee and enjoy my old reads.
After every item on that countdown list above is checked off!

ReplyDeleteLove the smell of lavender in drawers! I, too, have copies of the old Victoria magazines. I pulled them out recently in a closet cleaning frenzy, but haven't been able to put them in the recycling, trash or donation piles, yet.
